How to Enter

Email a clip of any song of your choice to info@embraceperformingarts.co.uk.  In your email state 

 

Recording

For best results please ensure:

  • The singer is in full view
  • There is only the singer in the video
  • The music and vocals can be heard as clearly as possible

Videos will not be shared on social media unless we ask for permission via email. 

 

Results

At Embrace Performing Arts we feel it important that the Arts are accessible, affordable and fun.  Therefore we have categories for all ages.  Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in each of the following categories:

Age 5 and below 
Age 6 - 10 
Age 11 - 16 
Age 17 + 

Our Adjudicator’s are qualified and experienced Singers and Singing Teachers and will email the finalists accordingly.  The final results will then be posted on our social media platforms.

Terms and Conditions

 

Entries open:                 5th September 2020

Entries close:                 30th November 2020

Results announced:    4th December 2020

 

Payment and submission of video is taken as acceptance of the below terms and conditions.

 

  1. Late entries will not be accepted.
  2. Entry fee is decided by the entrant as all proceeds go straight to Brake, the Road Safety Charity.  Entry fees should be donated via https://www.facebook.com/donate/3236774803038534/
  3. Entries received without donation will not be accepted.
  4. Entry fees will not be refunded if the dancer withdraws.
  5. The Adjudicator’s decision is final and as such, no discussion or correspondence concerning such decisions may ensue.  The Adjudicator reserves the right not to award any place if individuals infringe the rules.  Communication with the Adjudicator concerning any matters relating to the competition by singers, teachers or other interested parties prior to or during the competition is prohibited.
  6. Embrace Performing Arts Ltd does not accept liability for the infringement of current copyright recording or performing rights arising out of any dancer’s accompaniment or performance.

Policy Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to provide protection for the children and young people who participate in our events, and to provide staff with guidance on procedures they should adopt in the event that they suspect a child or young person may be experiencing, or be at risk of, harm.

  • Adopting child protection guidelines through procedures and safe working practice for staff.
  • Recruiting staff safely, ensuring all necessary DBS checks are made.
  • Sharing information about child protection and safe working practice with children, parents and staff.
  • Sharing information about concerns with agencies who need to know, and involving parents and children appropriately.
